Scout Accounts:

The Troop has a Scout Account set up for each Scout.  All money earned through a Scout
Project - popcorn, bake sales, Owen's raffle ticket sales, etc. - will go into that account.  This
money then can be used for - annual recharter fees, scout camps, and the Troop summer trip.
The money is not to be used as spending money without the Scoutmaster's approval.  If the
Scout quits the Troop, for what ever reason, the money will go into the "General Troop Fund
Account" to benefit the Troop's expenses.

This Troop policy has been in effect since a mid- 1980's Troop Committee
unanimously voted it into our Troop Guidelines.
The Troop does not take any money from these fundraisers....100% of the profit does into
the scout account of those who participate.
